Belizean-Chinese businessman charged with harm, out on bail

By BBN Staff: A Belizean-Chinese businessman is out on bail after being accused of harming another man.

Fifty-five-year-old Anhui Zho was arraigned in the Belize City Magistrate’s Court this afternoon on a single charge of harm upon a male minor.

Zho pleaded not guilty to the charge and the prosecution did not object to him receiving bail.

Bail was granted in the sum of $800 plus one surety of the same, with his next court date set for March 3.

Zho said in his defense that he doesn’t even know the complainant who made the allegations against him.
