Leader of the Opposition names temporary Senator; leaves for official travel

By Aaron Humes: Newly reappointed Leader of the Opposition Moses “Shyne” Barrow has named a temporary appointment to the Senate for Wednesday’s meeting in Belmopan.

Belmopan native and former Mayoral candidate Jacklyn Burns has been asked to join the Opposition benches for the meeting which takes place starting at 10 a.m.

In other news from the Leader’s desk, he has announced that he is leaving the country on official business, namely following up on meetings with American government officials, from February 7 through 13.
