Second death from COVID-19 in February reported.

By Aaron Humes: An unvaccinated female from the Stann Creek District is the latest victim of COVID-19.

Hers is the second death reported this month after one over the weekend, 28th since the start of 2021 and number 631 overall.

Since December 1, 35 of 53 deaths happened to unvaccinated persons according to Ministry of Health data, while three were partially vaccinated and 14 were fully vaccinated, one of unknown status and under the age of 19. A majority of the fully vaccinated were beyond the age of fifty.
