Belize City leads greatly reduced daily COVID-19 table

By Aaron Humes: While Cayo continues to have the most new cases by district in today’s daily COVID-19 table, Belize City has the most cases by reporting area with 38 of 60.

In Cayo there were 74 cases total, with Belmopan and its surrounding residential zones reporting 33, San Ignacio and Santa Elena combined 21, and Benque Viejo five.

A total of 65 new cases were reported in the North including fourteen in Corozal Town and six in Orange Walk Town, while down south things are even quieter, with just 26 cases combined across the Stann Creek and Toledo Districts, including four each in Dangriga and Independence and three in Punta Gorda.
