Belize Weather: Mid-week cooldown

The National Meteorological Service says a cool northerly airflow prevailing will support cloudy skies today with sunny breaks. Tonight, skies will be partly cloudy. Light rain will develop offshore, elsewhere showers if any will be isolated.

High temperatures across most of the country will reach 80 degrees Fahrenheit today and 68 degrees in the hills. It will be 68 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 64 degrees inland and 58 degrees in the hills tonight.

Winds are from the northwest at 10 to 20 knots and sea state is choppy with waves of three to five feet in height.

Tides will be low at 9:53 this morning, then high at 4:01 this afternoon. The sun sets this evening at 5:51 and rises at 6:22 Thursday morning.

For Thursday expect partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated showers, then on Thursday night expect an increase in coastal showers or light rain.
