Flattening of COVID wave continues

By Aaron Humes: The fourth phase of the first wave of Belize’s COVID-19 pandemic continues to flatten.

Latest information from the Ministry of Health and Wellness is that over the last 24 hours, 242 new cases of the disease were reported, with 54,758 total cases confirmed.

742 names were added to the recovery roll for a total of 48,948 recovered persons or over 89 percent of those tested.
No new deaths were reported and 172 samples remain under investigation.
