Vehicle set on fire in Belize City

By BBN Staff: A vehicle was reportedly set on fire early this morning on the south side of Belize City.

The SUV was parked in a yard on M&Y Street in the St. Martin’s area when it was set ablaze around 3:00 a.m.

Personnel from the Belize National Fire Service were deployed to the scene and extinguished the fire before it could cause any damage to homes in the area.

Police are investigating the incident.
