Belize participates in Taiwan’s Lantern Festival

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: Belize has a booth at Taiwan’s Lantern Festival to promote Belizean products.

Ambassador Dr. Candice Pitts met on Wednesday with Taiwan’s Central American Trade Office to discuss Belize’s participation in the Lantern Festival as well as the agenda of events and activities for the year 2022.

“This year’s National Lantern Festival takes place in the City of Kaohsiung (Sister City to Belize City) on Tuesday, February 15th at 6 pm,” said the Belize Embassy in Taiwan.

“Normally attended by thousands of people from different parts of the world, the festival is another great opportunity to attract good attention to BELIZE.”
