Police confirm murder of Nimrod Fitzgibbon in Belize City

By Aaron Humes: A Belize City man was ambushed by two men on motorcycle tonight, dying of his injuries.

30-year-old Nimrod Fitzgibbon, of Supal Street, was walking on Kut Avenue having left Tow Tow Grocery at the corner with Fairweather Street when two men on motorcycle approached and one of them fired several shots at him.

Fitzgibbon died at the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital. Police investigations continue.
