By BBN Staff: The National Meteorological Service (Met Service) says an increase in the moisture of the airflow is expected to bring showers in various parts of the country for the next few days.
The 24-hour forecast calls for sunny skies today with some cloudy spells and cloudy skies tonight. A few coastal showers and isolated thunderstorms are expected as the day progresses. During the afternoon showers and thunderstorms will develop mainly over inland and northern areas and then spread to most areas of the country. Tonight some showers and thunderstorms will affect the country.
Today’s temperature highs will be 80 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 84 degrees Fahrenheit in the inland areas, and 75 degrees in the hills. Tonight’s temperature lows will be 68 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 62 degrees inland, and 59 in the hills.
Winds will be blowing East-Northeast between 05-15 knots and the sea state will be light chop.
High tide will come in at 9:05 a.m. and will come in again at 8:03 p.m. Low tide will occur at 1:47 p.m.
The sun will set at 5:53 p.m. and the moon will rise at 3:25 p.m.
The outlook for Monday and Monday night is for cloudy to overcast skies with windy and cool conditions along with some showers, a few thunderstorms, and periods of rain developing over most areas, but more so along the coast.
