By BBN Staff: Authorities have identified the body found in Steadfast Village this morning as that of Filberto Ramirez, who was reported missing on Sunday, February 13.
Dangriga police recovered his body from a shallow stream this morning.
The body was reportedly covered with mud and leaves. Upon investigation, the body displayed several bruises and a large cut wound to the left leg.
The incident is now being investigated as a murder.
