By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The Institute of Archaeology (IA) said on Monday that “the Xunantunich Archaeological Reserve is now open with vehicle crossing at the ferry”.
“The Nohoch Che’en Archaeological Reserve is now open.”
“The ATM Reserve is closed.”
The IA said it will keep monitoring the river conditions.
Meanwhile, all other archaeological reserves are open.
However, the IA advises tourists to “continue to exercise caution at all times and adhere to all COVID-19 regulations”.
