Kliuvert Cal triumphs in 2022 A Corozal Valentine’s 5K

Kliuvert Call from Punta Gorda won the 2022 A Corozal Valentine’s 5K on Sunday in Corozal Town.

Cal who ran independently clocked 19 minutes, 1.6 seconds (19:01.6) winning over a combined field of 35, 19 men, and 16 women, according to Belize Running Events.

Independent Marco Reyes of Orange Walk was second in 21:05.0.

Third place was captured by Corozal’s Michelan Gilharry who was timed at 22:58.6.

Always Belize’s Nick Juan from San Ignacio was fourth in 23:20.5

Fifth place was taken by Hill Treaders’ Dalheart McFadzean from Santa Elena, Cayo, in 24:04.8.

Cayo’s Andre Gongora placed sixth in 24:07.8 while Corozal’s Arnel Caceres finished seventh in 24:11.2.

Always Belize’s Fernando Oliva from Belize City ran in eighth in 25:01.6.

Orange Walk’s Geovaughan Cocom was ninth in 25:18.3 while Tempol Team’s Yichang Lin from Corozal Town picked up the tenth spot in 25:22.7

17. Nigel Williams – Self – Corozal – 34:50.1

18. Izmir Gilharry – Self – Corozal Town – 40:44.4

19. Dre McFadzean – Self – Willows Bank – 14:08.5
