New COVID cases down to lowest daily levels in weeks

By Aaron Humes: Just 135 new COVID-19 cases were counted countrywide today, as the flattening of the latest spike of the pandemic continues.

492 cases were cited as recovered, reducing the number of active cases to 3,181 as 134 samples remain under investigation.

Sixteen persons are now hospitalized with the disease with five in intensive care; no new deaths were reported.
The rate of recovery is on the rise again, now past 93 percent of the total infected population at 55,653.
