Belize Weather: Mid-week improvement as storms decrease

The National Meteorological Service forecasts a cloudy start to the day with showers and rain mainly over the north and center of Belize, decreasing later.

High temperatures along the coast peak at 84 degrees Fahrenheit, 86 degrees over inland areas and 72 degrees in the hills. Tonight’s low temperatures are 76 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 70 degrees inland and 62 degrees in the hills.

Winds are from the east to southeast at five to 15 knots and sea state is moderate.

Tides will be high at 10:29 this morning and 10:05 this evening and low at 5:05 this evening. The sun will set at 5:54 this evening and rise at 6:19 Thursday morning.

The extended forecast calls for fair weather and isolated showers only on Thursday.
