Ministry of Infrastructure, Development, and Housing continues building, maintaining, and repairing roads countrywide

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The Ministry of Infrastructure, Development, and Housing (MIDH) continues its work building, maintaining, and repairing roads countrywide.

Now the Road Maintenance Unit has a crew deployed in Jacintoville in the Toledo District installing culverts in the rural area.

“One of our biggest challenges has been repairing rural roads damaged by continuous heavy rains,” said the MIDH in a social media post.

“As part of our comprehensive plan to alleviate the flooding which makes life hell for residents and makes our job harder, our team is in Jacintoville in the Toledo District installing 18″ culverts.”

The MIDH said it is “really grateful to residents for your patience and reassure you that the MIDH is here to work for you”.

Recently the MIDH was in Belize City, Corozal, Price Barracks, Haulover Bridge, Bullet Tree, Cayo, Northern border, and Ladyville. Previously they have been in other districts as well.
