Rebound in cases in Belize, Toledo District

By Aaron Humes: Mainland Belize District reported 52 new cases of COVID-19 including 34 in Belize City and nine in Ladyville, while San Pedro Town reported 15.

The Toledo District reported 31 new cases for second-most on the daily table although no reporting area had more than Punta Gorda Town with six. However, 12 villages from Bella Vista to San Pedro Columbia reported at least one case, with five in the latter.

There were 28 new cases in the Cayo District including 12 in Belmopan, eight between San Ignacio and Santa Elena Towns, and two in Benque Viejo.

The Stann Creek District reported 19 new cases including five in Dangriga; Orange Walk District 14 including five in Orange Walk Town; and Corozal District 13 including four in Corozal Town.
