Lejean Rhamdas shot on Albert Street in downtown Belize City

By BBN Staff: The man injured during a brazen daylight shooting in downtown Belize city this morning has been identified.

The victim is 25-year-old Lejean Rhamdas.

Rhamdas was fired upon on Albert Street sometime after 10:15 a.m. His condition is unknown at this time.

Rhamdas had only recently gotten out of prison, having been on remand until December 2021 on charges for an unlicensed gun and ammunition.
