Hammock Bridge 10 Mile Circuit race set for Sunday, February 20, in Cayo

The Hammock Bridge 10 Mile Circuit race is scheduled for 5:45 am on Sunday morning in San Ignacio, Cayo.

According to the organizers, Total Time Belize, the Hammock Bridge 10 Mile Circuit is yet another ‘Adventure Expedition Run’.

Total Time Belize said the terrain is “hilly, paved and gravel roads, dusty if dry and some mud puddles if it rains before. The run crosses over 4 bridges, with the Hammock Bridge swinging under your feet as you run on it. Spectacular views as you run the hilly terrain and looking up and down the river as you cross over them”.

The race starts and finishes at Mr. Sas Gym.

The following is the route:

Start at Mr Sas Gym

Left on Branch Mouth Road

Left turn Loma Luz Blvd

Over the Bridge

First right turn after the Bridge

Right turn on George Price Ave

Over Hawkesworth Bridge

Left turn up on Buena Vista Street (Police Station)

Right Turn on Joseph Andrews Drive (Round-A-Bout)

Left Turn on Bullet Tree Road (traffic Light)

Continue all the way to Bullet Tree Village

Over Bullet Tree Bridge

Right Turn on Santa Familia Road

Continue to Branch Mouth

Right Turn on Branch Mouth Road

Over the Hammock Bridge

Continue on Branch Road Mouth

Finish at Mr Sas Gym
