Belize Weather: Fair weather prevailing

By Aaron Humes: The National Meteorological Service forecasts continuing sunny skies with a few cloudy spells today and partly cloudy skies tonight. Showers will be isolated except for slightly more over the south.

High temperatures are 84 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 89 degrees inland, and 75 degrees in the hills. Tonight’s low temperatures are 75 degrees along the coast, 70 degrees inland, and 65 degrees in the hills.

Winds are east to northeast at 10 to 20 knots and the sea state is moderate with waves at 4 to 6 feet.

Tides are currently low, the next high tide is at 12:23 this afternoon followed by a low tide at 6:59 this evening. Sunset occurs at four minutes to six this evening and sunrise on Monday is at 6:16.

Similar weather conditions are expected on Monday.
