Several injured in Cayo traffic accident

By BBN Staff: Breaking Belize News has confirmed that there was a road traffic accident involving two vehicles in Bullet Tree Village, Cayo district last night, that has left several people injured.

Reports are that the collision between a white SUV and a red pickup truck happened shortly after 11:00 p.m.

Details are still forthcoming, but we have confirmed that one vehicle’s occupants were two men and two women. One of the women managed to escape the ordeal without injury, the other with minimal injuries. She has reportedly been treated at the hospital and released.

Meanwhile, both men are reportedly at the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital (KHMH) with severe head and body injuries.
