Trespasser caught stealing a turtle shell chops homeowner with a machete

By BBN Staff: A farmer who caught a thief in his yard is fighting for his life at the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital after the thief attacked him.

Thirty-five-year-old Willham Bull reportedly arrived at his home around 6:40 p.m. on Saturday and found one Ryan Sutherland in his yard taking a turtle shell without his permission.

Bull told Sutherland to leave his property, but he refused and the men ended up in an altercation. During that altercation, Sutherland reportedly chopped Bull to his body with a machete.

Bull was taken to the KHMH where he is listed as being in critical condition.

Police investigations are ongoing.
