Verdes trounce Caesar Ridge 5-1, still lead the FFB Top League

Verdes trounced Caesar Ridge 5-1 on Saturday at the FFB Stadium where all games were played this past weekend.

Krisean Lopez scored a brace for the champs and leaders. Juan Carlos “El Chino” López; Jovaunn Ramos and Elroy Smith converted the others.

Michael Palacio scored the only goal for the Belize City side in the 87′ to put the score 4-1 at the time.

The victory is Verdes third in the FFB Top League Closing Championship and keeps them atop the standings with nine points.

Caesar Ridge, for their part, has lost all three games and are at the bottom of the standings.
