The Embassy of Belize in Taiwan announced that a paintings commission was launched on Tuesday, February 22.
The Embassy of Belize said in a social media post that it “has partnered with the Central America Trade office in Taiwan (CATO) to support the National Institute of Culture and History of Belize (NICH) with a cheque in the amount of $20,000 BZ for the commissioning of paintings that (i) highlight and promote the beauty and natural wonders of Belize to the world; (ii) that draw on the relationship between Belize and Taiwan”.
“We stand ready to continue our support of arts and culture in Belize and to facilitate cultural exchanges between Belize and Taiwan,” said the Belize Embassy.
