Four new ambassadors deliver credentials to Governor-General Froyla Tzalam

By Benjamin Flowers: Four new ambassadors delivered their letters of credence to Governor-General H.E. Froyla Tzalam today.

During a virtual ceremony, H.E. Armella Shakaryan, non-resident Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia; H.E. Carlos Rodríguez Bocanegra, non-resident Ambassador of the Republic of Colombia; H.E. Odile Roussel, non-resident ambassador of France; and H.E. Carlos A. Tomada, non-resident ambassador of Argentina, presented their credentials.

Following the presentations, H.E. Tzalam welcomed the ambassadors, noting she anticipates an in-person meeting post-pandemic.

“The ambassadors each conveyed on behalf of their respective countries the intention of cooperating with Belize in several areas of priority, including climate change, conservation, and the preservation of culture,” the Government of Belize said in a release following the event.
