Ana López places 5th in the Central American 10K Cross Country in El Salvadore

Ana López Camp placed fifth in the Central American 10K Cross Country Championship in San Salvador, El Salvador last weekend.

Lopez did quite well against competitors from Guatemala, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, and hosts El Salvador.

“The race was a tough n rough one but always up for the challenge managed to get 5th place. Thanking the Lord for always being my strength, my provider,” wrote López Camp in a social media post.

Guatemala Viviana Aroche López was the winner in 39 minutes 29 seconds (39:29:00). Second place was taken by Priscilla María Solís Rojas from Costa Rica in 39:31:00.

Third Place was captured by Idelma Lizeth Delgado of El Salvador at 40:51:00.

El Salvador’s Melany Nicole Elías Trejo was fourth in 42:43:00.

Belize’s López Camp was fifth in 45:13:00.

The other participants were two Salvadorans and a Nicaraguan.
