By Aaron Humes: The Old Capital has supplanted San Pedro Town at the top of the daily COVID-19 table after a one-day run for the island municipality.
Belize City added 19 of 21 new cases in mainland Belize District; the others are to be found in Hattieville and Ladyville, while San Pedro reported two.
However, the district with the most cases is Stann Creek with 22 – four in Hope Creek; three in Independence; two each for Maya Center, Placencia, San Roman and the Maya King banana farm compound; and one each in Dangriga, Alta Vista, Hopkins, Kendal, Maya Mopan and Sarawee.
Cayo reported 11 cases with three in Belmopan; two in Benque Viejo; and one each in Armenia, Blackman Eddy, Bullet Tree Falls, Ontario, San Antonio and Santa Elena Town.
There were 11 total cases in the northern districts with five in Orange Walk Town and two in Corozal Town; and eight in the Toledo District including two in Forest Home and one in Punta Gorda Town.
