Further reduction reported in active COVID-19 cases

By Aaron Humes: The Ministry of Health and Wellness has been consistently moving up the timeline for releasing daily COVID-19 data as, conversely, the news keeps getting better and better.

Today there were 75 new cases reported compared to 194 new recoveries, pushing the total of active cases down to 1,601 with 168 samples under investigation. The daily positivity rate is just 6.12 percent.

The percentage of overall recoveries has reached 96 percent (54,233 of 56,525 total cases) while no new deaths were reported and hospitalization figures stay the same.
