Police seek help in identifying John Doe found in Belize City

By Benjamin Flowers: The Belize Police Department is asking the public’s assistance in identifying a John Doe pulled from the water in Belize City yesterday.

Officers found the body of a dark-skinned man in an area behind Port of Belize, with an apparent gunshot wound.

The man was dressed in a dark green sleeveless shirt had had long grey pants with a grey sweater around his neck. The man also has the name “DESIREE” tattooed on his arm.

Anyone with knowledge of the incident or could possibly identify the body is asked to call 911, 922, or the nearest police station.
