COVID-19 cases in single digits for reporting areas entering weekend

By Aaron Humes: The number of new COVID-19 cases in reporting areas is now in single digits nationwide entering the weekend.

The most cases reported were nine in Belize City followed by San Pedro Town with seven.

The Cayo District reported 15 total cases including four in the Belmopan area, two in Benque Viejo, and five in San Ignacio/Santa Elena.

The Belize and Corozal Districts each reported 14 and Orange Walk District seven, including six in Orange Walk Town and five in Corozal Town.

Meanwhile, down south there were a combined 15 new cases including, three in Punta Gorda. In Dangriga, no cases were reported.
