Two Belize District men are latest COVID-19 victims; total deaths now 650

By Aaron Humes: Belize has reached 650 deaths overall from COVID-19 after two more were recorded today.

The deceased are both from the Belize District; both men; and one was unvaccinated while the other was partially vaccinated.

This brings the number of deaths for the month to 20, for the year to 51 and for the period dating back to December 1 to 72.

Additionally, more men (390) than women (260) have died from COVID-19 despite a higher rate of infection among women than men.
