The Cycling Federation of Belize (CFB) expects a good field of riders for Sunday’s Race 3 on the George Price Highway and the Pine Ridge Road.
Along with the Digi Tour last weekend and the Belmopan Classic on March 13 and the Mount Hope Classic on March 20, the CFB is holding a number of races for the cyclists to prepare well for the biggest event in the cycling calendar, the Holy Saturday Cross Country which is this year set for April 16.
The third in a series of in-between classics (as big races are called in Belize) that the CFB is organizing starts at 8:00 am on Sunday in front of Old Belize, head West on the George Price Highway to the Georgeville junction, then turn left on the Pine Ridge Road to Blancaneaux Lodge junction, from where it returns to finish one mile from the Georgeville entrance.
The CFB said Race 3 will cover 92 miles.
Registration is $10.
