The Football Federation of Belize (FFB) held the first training module for 31 Belizean coaches aspiring for their Concacaf C License’ from Monday to Friday, February 21 to 25, at the FFB Headquarters in Belmopan.
Twenty-five men and six women are participating in the three-part course.
The coaching course Module 1 was facilitated by FFB Technical Director Philip Marin, FFB Head of Coaching Education Jonathan Hooper, Coach Marvin Ottley, and Coach Dale Pelayo. The instructors, who are completing their Concacaf B License course, were supervised by CONCACAF mentor Neal Ellis from the United States.
“The aim of the course is to develop the competencies of coaches to coach at the youth, amateur, and the highest level in Belize,” said the FFB.
Marin said the course consists of two modules and a practical internship. The internship will be conducted in March and April and Module 2 will be done from May 3 to May 7, 2022.
