Belize Weather: February closes with wet weather

The National Meteorological Service forecasts a wet end to the month of February.

Skies will be cloudy in spells today and tonight with a few showers mainly along the coast and over the south.

High temperatures today will reach 84 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast; 88 degrees inland and 74 degrees in the hills. Tonight’s low temperatures are 72 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast; 64 degrees inland and 60 degrees in the hills.

Winds are from the north to northeast at five to 15 knots; sea state will be light chop with waves of two to four feet.

Tides will be high at 9:09 this morning and 8:31 this evening and low at 2:03 this afternoon. Sunset occurs at 5:58 this evening and sunrise on Tuesday is at 6:11 in the morning.

Similar weather conditions are expected on Tuesday.
