Man dies following motorcycle accident in southern Belize

By BBN Staff: One man is dead and another injured following a motorcycle accident in Southern Belize on Sunday.

Police say that 50-year-old Enero Bol was riding his motorcycle on the San Antonio Road, Punta Gorda Town when just before 4:00 p.m. he ended up behind Antonio Cal, who was on a bicycle.

Reports are that Cal made a sudden u-turn on his bicycle which caused Bol to crash into him.

Both men were taken to the Punta Gorda Hospital, where Bol later died from severe head and body injuries.
