26 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 reported countrywide

By Aaron Humes: The Ministry of Health and Wellness reported one of its quietest day for COVID-19 cases.

Just 26 new cases were confirmed in the last 24 hours, a daily positivity rate of 2.36 percent with 152 samples under investigation.

The number of active cases is now down to 1,041 with 115 new recoveries reported.

The percentage of patients recovered has hit 97 percent with more than 55 thousand cleared of COVID-19.

While hospitalizations returned to their previous level, another death was officially reported today but occurred in February.
