Belize City Council rehabilitating Collet Community Park

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The Belize City Council said it is rehabilitating the Collet Community Park under the Belize City Urban Sustainability and Smart City Project and in partnership with the Commonwealth Local Government Forum (CLGF).

The Belize City Council said this is the second park they are working on. In February 2021, the city government revamped the Armadillo Playground.

“The Collet Community Park will see major upgrades to its infrastructure,” said the Belize City Council.’

“After proper community engagement and consultations, we hope to provide a unique twist compared to the traditional parks found in our communities,” added the Belize City Council.
