Dijon Foreman shot dead in Ladyville; police find a gun in the area

By BBN Staff: Police are investigating the circumstances that lead to the shooting death of 27-year-old Ladyville resident, Dijon Foreman which happened in the Japan area of Ladyville Village last night.

Around 7:40 p.m. officers responded to a report of a shooting and visited the home of one Damion Blake, who informed police that someone had just shot at him.

Police searched Blake’s yard and found Foreman lying face down with gunshot wounds to the body. Initial investigations revealed that he had gone to Blake’s home around 7:10 p.m. but the reason for the visit remains a mystery.

During a search of the area police also found a .40 caliber pistol.

Investigations into the matter are ongoing. Foreman’s was the first of two murders that occurred last night.
