Edward Saldano Sr. killed in drive-by shooting

By BBN Staff: Police have confirmed that 55-year-old Belize City resident Edward Saldano Sr. was killed in a drive-by shooting last night.

Reports are that Saldano was riding his bicycle up Wilson Street when a dark-colored Nissan Murano drove up to him and the occupants opened fire upon him.

Saldano was hit several times to the body and died on the spot.

Police have launched an investigation into the incident.
