Outstanding Dangriga police officers receive awards

By Aaron Humes: Superintendent in charge of Stann Creek Police Formation Gerald Jones, his deputy, Assistant Superintendent Santiago Patt and staff have recognized eight cops from the formation for their service in the past month.

These officers are: Sergeant of Police Orlando Gonzalez; Detective Constable (DC) Tyrell Swazo; and Police Constables (PC) Curtis Card; Delbert Benguche; Marcy Sabal/Martinez; Gloria Matias; Lorray Arzu; and Adriana Avilez.

From among these, PC Card was named officer of the month for February.

PC Card was described as consistent in terms of his hard work, dedication and commitment to duty. Despite many challenges he is able to overlook those and maintain his energy and motivation in the performance of his duties. His record continues to be very impressive and he is always willing to listen [and] adhere to instructions.

Superintendent Jones encouraged the awarded officers to continue with good performance and remain consistent despite the challenges they may face from time to time.
