Belize Weather: Mostly sunny for most but showers for some areas

The National Meteorological Service projects an increase in showers in some areas due to atmospheric conditions, but the day will otherwise be fair.

Skies today will be sunny with a few cloudy spells and partly cloudy tonight. Except for a few showers over some areas this morning, generally fair weather prevails with isolated showers.

Temperatures along the coast will peak at 84 degrees Fahrenheit; over the interior at 90 degrees Fahrenheit, and in the hills at 76 degrees Fahrenheit. Low temperatures tonight will be 78 degrees along the coast; 70 inland and 65 in the hills.

Winds are easterly at five to 15 knots and sea state is choppy with waves of three to five feet.

Tides will be high at 12:12 this afternoon and low at 7:12 this evening. Sunset is at exactly six this evening and sunrise on Monday at 6:07 a.m.

The holiday Monday will be mainly fair with a chance of a few showers in the early morning.
