BECOL employee falls to death while working at Chalillo Dam

By Aaron Humes: Multiple sources have confirmed to Breaking Belize News (BBN) that a San Jose Succotz, Cayo District resident died on Saturday while working at the Chalillo Dam.

The victim has been identified as Carlos Rodriguez.

We understand that Rodriguez, who works for the Belize Electric Company Limited (BECOL), was on duty and working atop a post when he fell and was injured.

He was transported to Belize City for treatment but was eventually pronounced dead on arrival. No foul play is believed to have occurred.
