Lord’s Bank villager attacked and stabbed

By BBN Staff: A 55-year-old Jamaican national was stabbed in Lord’s Bank Village last night.

Police say that 55-year-old Denham Roy Sr. was socializing with four men and a woman between midnight and 1:00 a.m. on Poinsettia Street near its junction with Manta Ray Boulevard, Ladyville Village.

As he was headed to his vehicle, the five people he was with attacked him and stabbed him. They also robbed him of $4,700 in cash.

He managed to make his way to the police station and make a report.

Police are investigating the matter.
