Teenager charged with robbing Comex Paint store and customers

By BBN Staff: Azzane Kaylon Domingo, 18, was read three counts of robbery today in connection with an armed robbery at Comex Paint, corner of New Road and Hydes Lane.

The Plues Street resident denied the charges before Senior Magistrate Tricia Pitts-Anderson.

He is accused of robbing the establishment with a firearm on Friday, March 4, taking allegedly $526 cash; stealing a $900 cellphone and $700 gold ring from a male customer, and stealing an I-phone valued at $1300, a gold chain with medal lettering and purse with Amazon tablet totally valued at $4,125 from a female customer.

Due to the nature of the offenses, he was denied bail and remanded into custody at the Belize Central Prison until May 2022.
