27 new cases of COVID-19 reported

By Aaron Humes: Belize has passed 57 thousand confirmed cases of COVID-19 just shy of two years from the time the pandemic hit our shores.

In the most recent reporting period, 27 new cases were tallied and 85 persons are reported recovered.

Belize now has 564 active cases with 49 samples under investigation.

The total percentage recovery rate continues to climb, approaching 98 percent, while deaths and hospitalizations have flatlined.
