Orange Walk Town tops daily new COVID-19 cases list

By Aaron Humes: With six new cases, Orange Walk Town is top of today’s COVID-19 new cases list.

Indeed, the North accounts for 15 of the 27 new cases countrywide, with nine in Orange Walk District (Orange Walk Town, Petville, San Estevan and San Lazaro) and six in Corozal District (Corozal Town 2, Consejo, Louisville, Patchakan and Ranchito).

Mainland Belize District added five new cases, four in Belize City and one in Caye Caulker, with none from San Pedro Town.

Out west, there was a case each in Belmopan, San Ignacio and Santa Elena, and down south cases were reported in Dangriga, Hope Creek, Dump and Eldridgeville.
