Belize Weather: Fair weather continues, but change arrives over weekend

The National Meteorological Service projects continuing fair and warm conditions. Skies will be mostly sunny today and clear to partly cloudy tonight; little to no rainfall is expected.

High temperatures along the coast peak at 88 degrees Fahrenheit; 95 degrees over inland areas; and 82 degrees in the hills. Low temperatures tonight are 80 degrees along the coast, 70 inland and 64 in the hills.

Winds are easterly to southeasterly at 10 to 20 knots; sea state is moderate with waves of four to six feet.

Tides will be low at 9:50 this morning and high at 4:14 this evening. The sun sets at a minute past six this evening and rises at 6:03 a.m. Saturday.

Saturday begins sunny and warm but later in the evening, it will become cloudy with a few showers and isolated thunderstorms over inland areas at first, spreading to most areas Saturday night.
