Man dies following tractor accident in Valley of Peace

By BBN Staff: A 27-year-old Salvadoran national died this week following a tractor accident on a farm in Valley of Peace, Cayo District.

Reports are that Alexander Jose Hernandez was on the farm driving the tractor around 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.

He was towing a 20′ x8′ trailer which was filled with sacks of soil, down a hill when he lost control of the tractor.

Hernandez was crushed by the tractor in the accident and died on the spot.

Police are investigating.
