Man on bicycle held up and robbed by men in vehicle

By Aaron Humes: According to an Orange Walk man, he was held up and robbed on the Palmar Boundary Road in Orange Walk Town on Friday evening.

Alexis Cantun of San Jose Nuevo Palmar, Orange Walk, reported to police that around 5:30 pm he was riding his bicycle on the Boundary Road when he was stopped by a small four-door car at the corner with Booth River Street.

Two men exited the vehicle and assaulted then robbed Cantun of the money he had on him.

Police are investigating.
