Wagiya host Verdes on Sunday at the Carl Ramos Stadium in Dangriga

By Ruben Morales Iglesias: Wagiya are out for revenge as they clash against Verdes today at 3:30 pm at the Carl Ramos Stadium in Dangriga.

Wagiya and Verdes are the two oldest teams in Belizean top and when they meet always expect a good game whatever the result might end up being.

On Sunday February 6, Verdes shocked Wagiya with a 5-0 thumping, but during the Opening Championship Wagiya actually had Verdes down before the Green Machine turned things around.

Today, after Verdes have collected the Concacaf League ticket on Altitude 2-2 draw with Garden City, Wagiya are defending the home turf with everything they’ve got to take down the Cayo-side.

So far, Verdes are unbeaten in the 2021-2022 season. They’ve won 14 of 15 matches. The other game was a draw. They mean for things to stay just like that.
